The owl represents wisdom and the butterfly represents change and growth. Personal growth is important. Also important, taking authority over your thoughts, your words, and your life. Stay in His word and listen to positive words for a positive life. I always enjoy Joyce Meyer and her teaching.
Think About It.
Listen without interrupting. Give without expectations. Love without ceasing. Encourage others with sencerity.
A New Beginning
Open doors and let blessing flow from them.
Think for a moment. How would you like someone to treat you? Share love with others and watch the world change by your own acts of kindness toward others. Small acts of kindness change the world. Be the kind of person you would like to see in this world and make a difference for another person. Take a friend a cup of coffee, or the secretary at the office you have an appointment at today. Buy someone lunch or pick up a random persons tab. If you start with small acts of kindness you will begin to feel happiness as well and will move to larger acts of kindness.
2 cup Mondays
We all face the same daily struggles with the same enemy. His approach may vary depending on the person, genetics, personality, faith, or lack of but we all face the same devil, just different demons.
Isn’t it a good thing we have Jesus who conquered that crafty enemy. I like to say the Jesus in me is stronger than he who is roaming the earth looking for someone to devour. Honestly, with faith, wisdom, and eyes wide open and two cups of coffee is a cure for Mondays.
Boldness Like a Lion
The truth is like a lion. You don’t have to defend it. Let it loose. It will defend itself. -St. Augustine
I love this quote. I also love that the lion is symbolic of Jesus, and bravery. It takes bravery to be honest. Most times people lie out of fear, fear of rejection, or fear of not conforming. It takes humily, an honorable quality to be honest. Truth is lying is the easy way out and requires less work at the time but in the long run it requires more work and more lies.
Remember to be true to yourself.
Remember to be true to yourself. Remember to keep realistic expectations of yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others expectations of you but to who you can be and should be in Christ.
When it feels hope is lost remember to pray and listen for the Holy Spirit’s guidance. When things seem unattainable remember all things are possible through Christ Jesus and you have not because you ask not.
